
ABOUT
Dr. Earl l. Newton is a leader with a global focus and global vision. He is able to build bridges and reach across generations, genders, race, culture and ethnicity, by changing lives and building communities. He focuses on empowering individuals socially, developing them educationally, exposing them culturally, activating them politically and strengthening them economically.
He is Founder and President of the Whole Truth Community Development Corporation organized in 2001. He also is the Founder and C.E.O. of the Hood 2 Hood Foundation which is focused on eliminating all excuses for failure and using a holistic approach to empowering the entire family unit. He has been recognized in Arizona as a leading organization in youth criminal diversion. He began the I.O.T.A.S. Fatherhood Initiative which focuses on teaching fathers Co-Parenting skills. He is leading an entire community towards restoration, healing and empowerment. He is the Founder of an organization known as L.E.A.H. that is geared toward helping and empowering young single un-wed mothers. Mr. Newton is also the Founding Director of the South Mountain Village Child Abuse Prevention Council which is a collaborative effort with the Arizona Department of Children Services. Mr. Newton is a sought after teacher, lecturer an Executive Life Coach where he trains leaders all across the nation.
He serves the community by serving on several key committees and task force with the city of Phoenix, with the express purpose of bringing change and empowerment to the South Mountain Village Community. He is a member of the City of Tempe African American Advisory Committee; He serves as a board member for the Arizona Center for African American Children (AzCAAC.). He was appointed by the Governor Ducey to serve on the State Juvenile Justice Commission and as has traveled the nation representing the State of Arizona. He also serves on several community collaborations that are making a great change within our community. Mr. Newton received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and his Master’s Degree in Christian Studies with and Emphasis in Pastoral Leadership from Grand Canyon University and his Doctoral Degree in Education in Organizational Development from Grand Canyon University.
